The Role of the Goddess in Our Lives
Goddess is a very misunderstood concept that has been given many meanings. There is of course the ancient, mythological meaning that we all have a clear understanding of. But when it comes to the role of the Goddess in modern times, let alone women embodying and becoming Goddesses, the term is often misused. Some speak of the ‘Goddess of Marketing’ or the ‘Entrepreneurial Goddesses’ when paying a woman a compliment on her professional expertise. Others use the term when referring to feminine leadership. So is Goddess just an ancient figure? Is the term referring to professional excellence? Or does it refer to an inherent sacred feminine essence that transgresses time and space? And why has the term gained popularity in recent times? Clearly it is time to move humanity from a dominantly fear based mindset to a purely love based state of being.
The Power of Fear
Fear is the foundation of our society and has been used for millennia to control humans. If people are living in fear of punishment they will do anything those in power desire: pay taxes, parking fines and have vaccinations. Fear is a masculine principal that became necessary when some wanted to impose their will on others, when comparison, competition and thus the need to control came into play.
The power games of the rulers throughout time have brought our planet to where it is now and the Earth is responding with her ever increasing earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and tsunamis. They are mirroring back to us our own ignorance, our attitude of separation and our fear. They are the alarm clock that is ringing to awaken us to who we truly are: spiritual beings in a human body, beings of love, One with all that is.
Some people are awakening out of their materialistic, selfish slumber, yet the majority is simply happy that they are not affected by the devastation, or they blame God for that they are ‘unlucky’ to be affected, instead of understanding that we create our reality ourselves.
Since 2012 the Earth has been shifting into a new phase and right now, we are not in harmony with the Earth, thus being affected so terribly by these changes. Goddess lives in her heart, she is One with the Earth and this is why it is pertinent to bring her back to the planet now. Not through some external force, but from deep within ourselves because we are the ones we’ve been waiting for. It is time to hear the alarm clock and wake her up from the slumber deep within our heart. Women must lead the way and become fully awakened, fully empowered Goddesses, letting go of all the fear-based conditioning that has been impregnated into our psyche for centuries and lifetimes. It is only then, that men can awaken their Goddess within themselves. For like with Yin and Yang, we each need both aspects fully realised to become whole.
Love is a feminine principal based on acceptance, inclusion and collaboration. It means that everyone is equal but different, everyone is empowered, no one is kept at bay and everyone can be the best they can be without stepping on someone else’s toes or being a threat, because there is no comparison and everyone is accepted just the way they are.
Can you imagine a society like that? How much easier it would be? There would be no emotional wreckages, no depression, no insecurities; just fully self-realised individuals.
Goddess in Ancient Times
This is how society was a very long time ago, such as in the times of ancient Egypt. It was a time when we lived in communities not nuclear families. Children were able to stay with their mothers and this strong bond gave security and safety, creating a strong foundation for emotionally healthy, secure individuals. Women knew how to harvest natural remedies to cure and prevent ailments. Women were revered for their mystical power, their wisdom, intuition and their connection to Mother Earth.
Everyone lived in harmony with nature. There was a natural exchange, not the reckless, selfish and ignorant taking that has brought the planet to where it is today.
The harmonious relationship between men and nature was further reflected in the rhythmical female cycle that fell on the Full Moon when women retreated into the temples to honour themselves during this time of letting go and renewal.
Rites of passage into womanhood were celebrated in the temples where the girls were initiated into sexual practices by the priestesses and shown how to pleasure themselves as part of knowing who they are as fully empowered sexual and creative beings. There was no humiliation, no guilt, no shame, no accidental coercion into sexuality, but conscious empowered practice.
People were strong and healthy, living in harmony with each other and nature.
Bringing the Ancient into the Present
It is time now to bring harmony and love fully back to the planet. This change needs to be initiated firstly by women, through tapping into their flowing, creative, loving, sacred feminine essence and pure power, tapping into their Goddess self. Men cannot activate and remember this part of themselves until the women in their life do so first. We are the mirrors, and for too long have not just mirrored masculine energies, we have absorbed and enacted them. So we have a responsibility to show them the way, not from within the masculine principals of abusive power but from love and truth.
Men cannot become whole as fully empowered beings until women embrace Goddess. For each human has the masculine feminine dynamic inherent in their nature, like Yin and Yang. Women have more than learnt to awaken and embody their masculinity. We have been conditioned to believe it is the only way we have been able to survive in this patriarchal world that has existed for thousands of years.
It happened in early Egyptian times when the power was taken away from the priestesses and may have even began in Sumerian times before that. Can you imagine a time when women once ruled the planet? It did exist, and there was no hunger and no war.
Since then self-realised woman who embodied Goddess were persecuted and killed, called witches, whores, or possessed by the devil.
A Forged Attempt at Equality
In the 1960, the rise of feminism and emancipation gave women back their voice, but it was not their authentic feminine voice, it was their masculine voice. Their feminine voice was still suppressed to such an extent that even the women had forgotten what it sounded like. After generations and generations of suppression and annihilation women believed that by being emancipated and receiving equal rights to work and vote meant that they were now equal; equal to men, by being treated the same as men.
Instead of equality, all they got was the right to express their masculinity even more, fighting men on male ground and wondering why it was that men still got most of the higher positions, why it was still men who cut women off in meetings and discussions and why women had to work three times as hard to be perceived equal to men. That is not equality. That is becoming dominant in an area we are not naturally dominant and then wondering why it is such a struggle.
From a different perspective, women have simply been further lured away from their natural strength and from their own nature. They became like men disguised in women’s dress, wondering why they could never be as good, or rarely be as good as men and, if they were, this success came with a huge sacrifice to their family and often their health – the secretly stressed out superwoman, killing herself trying to be everything to everyone. Sound familiar?
Right now, we have more power than we’ve ever had in modern history. But the power we have been granted is masculine power. This is why many women still feel disempowered victims to the ideal of the super woman: being everything to every one, yet feeling a certain emptiness inside.
Our lives don’t seem authentic to us, it’s as though we are playing a role and by now you will understand why. We are not living to our true purpose.
All women had done was to activate their masculinity even more at the cost of shutting their feminine intuition away and with it all those qualities that belonged to the sacred feminine. If you are wondering what they are, then you are truly conditioned by the patriarchal society and exactly where those in power want you to be.
Remember the witch hunts in the middle ages? Men were afraid of the mystical powers of the sacred mother, the feminine intuition and did all that was in their power to shut it up. In the Middle Ages this was done through murder and witch hunts, in the twentieth century this was done through distraction: giving women equal rights to men and thus luring them away from remembering who they truly are.
Governments and those in power knew that woman could never be equal. It’s like asking a qualified concert pianist to work in the marketing department of a large firm getting the same results as a fully qualified marketing director with many years of experience. Both have different skills sets that are not fully transferable.
I know that this statement will meet some disagreement from those who believe in gender blindness and think that there is no inherent difference between men and women and that there are only personal differences that have nothing to do with gender. If that’s you, I don’t blame you. Our society shows men who portray more female qualities and women who are more analytical than some men. Yet, that’s exactly all part of the conditioning and all part of the grand plan.
The Illuminati – the powers at work – planned the feminist movement very carefully. It came from the world powers not from women. It came from patriarchy but was made to look as if it was the liberation of women from within the women’s movement.
But why would they help women to gain power, if they are afraid of woman’s power? There are three very simple reasons:
1. They gave women masculine power, taking them further away from their true nature through distraction. Thus disempowering feminine power.
2. By getting women into the workplace, they doubled the amount of taxes that was paid and thus created a further income avenue for themselves.
3. By getting women into the workplace, they took them away from their children. This meant that children had to be put into day care centres and Kindergartens. The earlier children are taken away from their mothers, the more they are vulnerable to the influences of those in whose care they are, who in turn had to have an education to teach those children whatever those in power wanted them to believe. Taking children away from their mothers at an early age goes against natural instincts. It robs children of the sense of security they have when they are allowed to stay with their mothers until they are ready to move on. It makes them feel abandoned and the insecurity arising from that is used to increase their fears. Children who are afraid and have no strong sense of self-worth will do anything they can to be liked. Citizens like this can be controlled into doing whatever the government wants them to do. By taking children away at an early age the Illuminati brainwash and condition the society into fear and stop them from thinking for themselves.
The Tide is Turning
There are so many misconceptions about what Goddess is, and society has forgotten, much to the delight of those in power. But now is the time to remember! It is time to remember who we are and once again walk in the footpaths of our ancestor: powerful women, who were deeply connected to Mother Earth. The tide is turning and it is time that thousands of years of masculine ruling are now to be reversed into a matriarchal society. This is why more and more women get a calling to gather together and support one another. In the business community more and more events and organizations are created that are just there for women: Business Chicks, Women’s business Groups, Women’s Network Australia, Women in Finance… the list goes on. There are equally many, if not more, organizations for women in the spiritual and personal development arena: Feminine Power and Women on the Edge of Evolution to name but two.
What Would a Matriarchal Society Look Like?
Firstly it would be a world without war, for no mother sends her son off to war to be killed. Secondly, no child would ever die of thirst or starvation; there is abundance to go around and a matriarchal society would ensure it does. It would mean living in a society without fear, greed, anxiety, anger, aggression, competition and control. Women in their natural state are true collaborators. So instead of competition, there would be collaboration.
Some would say that we need rules and laws and that a society without it would go haywire. Yes a society that has forgotten their goddess self would indeed go haywire and end in anarchy, as we are beginning to see, because the masculine structures are breaking down. It’s just that the feminine hasn’t fully taken over and many Goddess movements are still mistakenly following masculine principals.
The Essence of Goddess
Goddess has been widely misunderstood as some airy-fairy, fluffly-duffy, touchy-feely weak, female thing. This is far from the truth. If we look back in history at the ancient Goddesses, look how powerful they were: Isis, Aphrodite, Diana… they were revered for their strength, compassion, truth, beauty and wisdom. It is those who should be our role models, not the celebrity divas or corporate ‘superwomen’ who follow masculine principals.
Goddess does not strive for equality in a man’s world. She stands her own ground and is equal in the sense that she is strong in her feminine power, in her creative flow, without anything to hide, anything to prove or anything to achieve. She just IS: pure strength, pure love, pure wisdom. Those who have shed all their fears cannot be controlled, for they cannot be manipulated or threatened by anything, it has no impact on them. This is true Goddess energy, true Goddess empowerment. Goddess has no fear. She is strong. This is why men either revere and honour them or fear them, depending on their own internal harmony or disharmony.
Goddess is about sharing, being and flowing. The world that Goddess will create requires no systems or structures. Money will cease to exist and exchanges, or what we call bartering, will become the norm. We will remember the abundant nature of the universe, for Goddess works in harmony with all things, she is inclusive and gives freely because she truly understands the concept: as you sow so shall you reap and if there is no fear, lack cannot be manifested. The illusion of scarcity that has been employed for centuries will be overthrown. Goddess lives in harmony with the natural ebb and flow of life and embraces all circles of life.
Who is Your Inner Goddess?
Living in full Goddess empowerment means to live with an open heart in a state of love, for love is our true state of being. It means embracing, accepting and surrendering to the flow of life. It means truly nurturing and loving yourself as who you are in an unconditional state of love, no matter what. It means sharing, giving, creating. It means letting go of all fear and speaking your truth from a place of love, strength and compassion, unafraid of the consequences. Living in Goddess Self means to connect with Self and Source at core level.
If you feel a sense of frustration with your life as it is now, and get the sense that you are on this planet for more than this… or to be more correct: there is something else eating at you other than what you have at this stage, then you are on the verge of shifting into a huge wave of awakening. This does not always come in the way you may expect. In fact, from my experience, it rarely does. It is far from being a blissful experience and more likely a shattering stripping away of what is holding you back and a challenging confrontation of what you need to let go of. Fear based masculine principals often need to be shocked out of the system. Often the very thing you are asked to let go of is the very thing that has given you a sense of false security or even your identity. For me it was my business and many friends that were not ready to shift. If you have been resisting your inner calling, if fears have held you back from doing what you knew was the right thing, but it seemed so crazy that you pushed it away, your deeper awakening will most likely show up in the form of a crisis. The Chinese symbol for crisis is twofold: danger and opportunity. The change into Goddess will appear dangerous from the ‘rational view’ that is locked into societal conditioning. Your Higher Self will rejoice and see the opportunity in the crisis, in fact it has created this opportunity for you. So it’s a question of choice: are you going to look at the situation from a fear based perspective or from your Higher Self / Goddess perspective. The latter may appear crazy but is the path of least resistance.
The parachute image springs to mind: it only opens after you have jumped out of the plane not before. We must learn to become comfortable with the uncertainty of not being aware and to listen out for the voice of deeper knowing. Returning to Goddess and rebirthing her again in today’s world means to let go of all fears, to allow our heart to make decisions and our mind to figure out how to realize the details of the hearts desires, not to run the show, or project failure or disaster.
I trust that this article has given you a greater understanding of the inner Goddess in all of us, and why it is so important to embrace, remember and rebirth her so as to create a healthy, holistic society, where the masculine and feminine Yin and Yang are in harmony and flow, and where love presides over all fear-based emotions and actions.
Whilst all I have been able to do here is touch the surface of the role of the Goddess, but it may have triggered something within you that you may wish to explore further.

Her recent journey to Egypt triggered many remembrances of alternate lives as a High Priestess, and in Glastonbury she worked with a Cosmic Walk-In to further reconnect with many of her other lives and ultimately with her true self. This consequently led to her being ‘coached’ by Source through over a year of channelled personal conversations, which has awakened her to the stakes at play on our Mother Earth at this crucial time of transition and to the importance of bringing fully awakened Goddess energy back to the planet. Through these dialogues with Source, she realised that as a Keeper of Light and Truth, it was an integral part of her life purpose to assist other women to awaken to, and fully reclaim their God given birth right and state of being as empowered Goddesses.
